Berkadia Arranges $22.7M Sale of Apartment Community in Milwaukee | REBusiness Online

CHICAGO – December 7, 2018 – Berkadia today announced the $22.7 million sale of Avenir Apartments on Jefferson, a 104-unit apartment community with 7,045 square feet of retail space in Milwaukee. Washington-based Weidner Apartment Homes purchased the property from an entity managed by Milwaukee-based Wangard Partners. The transaction was completed on November 29. Managing Directors Ralph DePasquale and Alex Blagojevich and Director Parker Stewart of the Chicago office represented the seller.

“Avenir is a great building and offers amenities that you typically don’t find in properties with a similar volume of units, and the location is outstanding,” said DePasquale.  “It is a very desirable long-term investment, and generated a tremendous amount of interest before ultimately being purchased by Weidner.”
