WASHINGTON, D.C. — September 9, 2021 — Berkadia announced today the construction-to-permanent financing secured for Eisenhower Block 20, a to-be-built 26-story luxury Class “A” multifamily community consisting of 443 apartment units in the Carlyle District of Alexandria, Virginia. Senior Managing Director J. Tyler Blue and Managing Director Paul Wallace of Berkadia D.C. Metro secured the $109 million in construction-permanent financing on behalf of the borrower.
A National Life Insurance Company provided a 10-year loan with the first five years interest only.
Eisenhower Block 20 will offer residents an extensive amenity package including a five-level parking garage, secured access, front desk concierge, package storage, a fitness center, year-round pavilion, a swimming pool with a sun shelf and a rooftop terrace.
The property will have immediate access to Interstate 495 (Capital Beltway) as well as the Eisenhower Avenue Metrorail (Yellow Line) adjacent to the property.
