Berkadia Completes $22.35 Million in Combined Sales for Two Multifamily Properties in South Carolina
CHARLESTON, S.C. – January 5, 2022 – Berkadia announced today the combined sales of Boundary at Silver Bluff and Aiken Grand, two garden-style multifamily housing properties located in South Carolina. Managing Director Mark Boyce and Director Blake Coffey of Berkadia Charleston Investment Sales completed the $15.5 million sale of Boundary at Silver Bluff on behalf of the buyer, Nebraska-based Foundation for Affordable Housing, and the seller was New York-based Quad Property Group. The deal closed on December 21.
The same deal team completed the $6.85 million sale of Aiken Grand on behalf of the Florida-based seller. The buyer was Virginia-based JARS Residential Properties, and the deal closed on December 22.
Berkadia also completed the financing for Boundary at Silver Bluff.
Boundary at Silver Bluff is located at 749 Silver Bluff Road in Aiken, South Carolina. The 126-unit garden-style multifamily property features one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans with air conditioning, ceiling fans and in-units washers and dryers. Community amenities include a swimming pool, a clubhouse, a business center and a pet park. The property affords residents convenient access to Odell Weeks Activity Center and the shops and restaurants along Whiskey Road.
Aiken Grand is located at 115 Timmerman St. in Warrenville, South Carolina. The 122-unit garden-style multifamily property features multiple floor plans with washer and dryer hookups. The property affords residents convenient access to Midland Valley Golf Club, University of South Carolina Aiken and the shops and restaurants near Route 78.
