Berkadia Further Expands Medical & Life Sciences Platform with Addition of Mike Cerny

Jacksonville, FL – December 5, 2022 – Berkadia announced today the addition of Vice President and Lead Underwriter Mike Cerny to the Medical & Life Sciences platform, alongside Senior Managing Director and Head of Medical & Life Sciences Sabrina Solomiany.

Cerny joins Berkadia from Wells Fargo’s specialty real estate finance group, where he served as Director and Lead Underwriter for medical office and life sciences. During his time at Wells Fargo, he was part of a team and directly contributed to closing $2B in healthcare real estate loan commitments.

Prior to Wells Fargo, Cerny previously held similar senior level underwriting and valuation roles for Capital One and GE Capital.

Mike received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Calvin University and achieved the CCIM designation in 2016.
