Cortney has over 16 years of FHA commercial real estate experience, with a specialty in both multifamily and healthcare transactions.
Prior to joining Berkadia, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriter for Capital One National Association. He was responsible for the complete oversight and quality control of all underwriting and closing functions related to FHA insured transactions. Throughout his career, Cortney has personally underwritten over $1 billion in loan volume and has overseen upwards of $4 billion in FHA production.
