Berkadia Affordable, Tax Credit Syndication

Joe manages the closing process and ensures that the needs of investor partners are being met. Joe is responsible for obtaining all necessary due diligence, ensuring third party reports are ordered and received, and works with equity counsel to ensure that the various partnership documents are being prepared and distributed.

Previously, Joe worked as a Senior Asset Manager at U.S. Bank Community Development Corporation, where he managed a portfolio of construction and permanent loans in excess of $350M to affordable housing developers throughout the Western United States. Prior to joining US Bank, Joe served as the Asset Manager at Del Norte Neighborhood Development Corporation, a Denver-based nonprofit affordable housing developer, where he oversaw the company’s real estate portfolio and managed lender, investor, property management and supportive service provider relationships.  Prior to working for Del Norte, Joe spent several years with PNC Real Estate’s Tax Credit Capital group, where he held roles managing institutional investor relationships and underwriting Low Income Housing Tax Credit investments.

Joe received his Masters in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and his Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from Skidmore College.
