Laura has 20 years of experience in multifamily finance nationwide. She has closed market rate, student, seniors, and affordable housing transactions. With a focus on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending, she also has experience with CMBS, bridge loan and construction loan programs. She has originated in excess of $1 billion in multifamily loans since 2015.

Ms. Beaton joined Berkadia in March of 2019. Formerly a Vice President of Production for Walker & Dunlop and of NKF (formerly Berkeley Point Capital), Laura has worked in various capacities in both Underwriting and Production throughout her career and has been involved in over $7 billion in multifamily financings.

Ms. Beaton holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Bentley University.
